  • This kind of snow won't have enough moisture in it to make a dent in the drought conditions (maybe 1/10 of an inch). Biggest problem will be getting feed to their cattle. Cows keep warm by eating. In a blizzard they might need to eat 3 or 4 times. Ranchers will be hard pressed to keep them fed.

  • Hey Watch, couldn't you tell that I was kidding? I thought it ironic that in the movie a government group stopped the earth's core from spinning and messed up the earth's magnetic field, and thus cause birds to fly into building and each other. Littering the ground with dead birds.

  • The one's that wander outside of Yellowstone are shot because of a disease called brucellosis. This disease causes cattle to abort the calves they are carrying, although there are no documented cases of the free range bison in Yellowstone transmitting the disease to cattle.

  • Hummm. Gophers? Are you sure your not talking about prairie dogs? Gophers are pretty big for a hawk to go after, but prairie dogs, that's another story. Hawks LOVE prairie dogs.
